Shar Pei breeds and medical problems

Shar pei might face eye problems such as entropion. Entropion is a genetic eye problem that causes the puppy’s eyelids to roll inward. As a result, the eyelashes rubbing against the cornea causes acute distress for the victim.

Veterinarian can perform eye tacking as a treatment to entropian. Early symptoms of entropian include pawing at the eyes and tearing. Symptoms are usually observed at about four weeks.
